Mon-O-Phone

Biografie

Mon-o-Phone is a Lo-Fi drum machine/guitar band from Hasselt, Belgium with Ciska Vanhoyland on vocals and Koen Brouwers on electric guitar. The band was formed in August 2007. In their sound you’ll hear echo’s of The Kills, PJ Harvey, The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s and Iggy Pop. On top of the vintage drum loops there’s a raw energetic guitar sound which blends nicely with the intense vocals. The live line-up include Gunther Liket (Radio Infinity, Vandal X) on drums and Mimi van de Put (Buffoon, Barbie Bangkok) on bass.
