Wannabes is a Belgian music photography collective. Questions about your data can be sent to [email protected].
Newsletter
When you subscribe, we store your email address, preferred frequency, consent time, IP address and browser information. We process this data with your consent to confirm and deliver the newsletter and to document that consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in every email.
Email statistics
Newsletter and press emails record, per address, whether they were delivered and which links were clicked, so we can see how each mailing did. They do not track whether an email was opened. A complaint or a permanently bouncing address is unsubscribed automatically.
Accounts and essential storage
Contributor and administrator accounts use essential session cookies for authentication and security. We process this account and security data because it is necessary to provide access and for our legitimate interest in protecting and administering the website. The public theme preference is stored only in your browser. Wannabes does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.
Sharing and retention
We share data only with service providers needed to host the website and deliver email, or when the law requires it. We keep an active subscriber's data while they remain subscribed. After an unsubscribe, we retain only what is reasonably necessary to honour the opt-out, document consent and meet legal obligations. Account and security data is retained only while it remains necessary for those purposes.
Your rights
Depending on the processing, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive your personal data, and you can object to its use. You can withdraw consent at any time. We do not use your data for automated decision-making. Contact us by email to exercise a right; we normally respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
